The Net Drive Client Software has loads of features that makes your account so easy to use. It doesn’t matter whether you are a Net Drive Backup or Net Drive Pro customer, the same piece of software will work for you – it automatically determines what it needs to do based on your account settings when you log in. The software runs on Windows (XP, Vista or 7) and on Mac OS X (10.6+).

For Net Drive Backup customers, the software powers your backups, working quietly in the background on your PC to protect your files as you work. For Net Drive Pro users the software creates an L: drive on your PC. Files stored on your L: drive are stored on your hard drive but also synchronised with your Net Drive Pro account. This allows you to access your files wherever you are.

If you install the Net Drive Client software on more than one PC then the L: drive contains the same files on each PC – changes you make on one computer are automatically updated online and on all your other computers.

Installing the Net Drive Client Software

The Net Drive Client Software is so easy to install. When you first log in to your Net Drive web portal you are prompted to install it, and at any time after that you can download it from the web portal. It literally takes minutes to setup and use, and can be installed even by the most non-technical user.

Once the software is installed on your PC it regularly checks with Net Drive to see if there are any updates available. If there are then it will prompt you to update your software, quickly and easily.
